For the smallest little joy in this world, Hamako is dedicated to create nothing less than heavenly softness clothing for 0-24mo.
Hamako Eco-Lifewear was established in Bandung, Indonesia. Hamako Eco-Lifewear is a baby clothing brand dedicated to create nothing less than heavenly softness clothing from 0 – 24 months old. The soft-tone coloured baby wardrobe essentials are designed to meet the modern, simple and pure baby style. All garments meets the set standard and only made from the best 95% TENCEL™ Intimate 5% Spandex.
Hamako Eco-Lifewear collaborated with TENCEL™ Intimate to produce their baby wear. TENCEL™ Intimate uses a premium stretch fibre, which provides incredible breathability that provide a less favourable environment for bacterial growth, offering better hygienic qualities and long-lasting softness like never before. As a result of the smooth fibre surface, TENCEL™ Intimate cellulosic fibres offer an exquisitely gentle quality that creates a “barely there” feel.
TENCEL™ Modal fibres are mainly manufactured from beech wood, sourced from sustainable forests in Austria and neighbouring countries. Beech wood forests are a natural and renewable source of raw material. A big share of the wood used at the Lenzing site comes from Austria, harvested from certified and controlled sources following the stringent guidelines of the Lenzing Wood and Pulp Policy. These fibres are also available with FSC®(C041246) or PEFC™ certification upon request.
Moreover, wood and pulp used by the Lenzing Group comes from sustainably managed forests. TENCEL™ Modal fibres have earned United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) BioPreferred® designation.
Thus, this process made Hamako Eco-Lifewear a biodegradable and compostable products.
Exquisite softness derives from fine fibres, creating softer textiles. TENCEL™ Modal fibres exhibit a smooth surface and high exibility, resulting in a naturally soft quality of the textile.
The softness of TENCEL™ Modal fibres is confirmed by a variety of physical test methods, including Kawabata, TSA, Handle-o-meter, and Phabro-meter.
Hamako also enhance the soft touch of fabric even after repeated washing.
Gentle on Skin
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres are naturally soft to the touch and offer long-lasting comfort. When viewed under an electron microscope, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers exhibit a smooth surface area, giving fabrics a soft feel and ensuring comfort for sensitive skin.
As a result, the material used are fresh and pleasantly exquisite softness on baby’s skin.
When in motion, your baby is in harmony with his/her body and it will not disturbed particularly not by his/her clothing and ensuring comfort for sensitive skin.
Color pigments embedded in dope-dyed TENCEL™ Modal fibres retain long-lasting colour vibrancy better than conventionally dyed fibre, and are less prone to fade even after repeated washing.
Through moisture management, TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal fibres support the body’s natural thermal regulation. Derived from natural material, the microscopic fibrils of cellulosic fibres are structured to regulate the absorption and release of moisture, contributing to fabric breathability that supports the body’s natural thermal regulation.
TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal cellulose fibres have a higher vapour uptake than cotton combined with their smooth fibre surface. This supports the body’s natural thermal regulating mechanism.

The Lyocell cellulose fibres have a higher vapour uptake than cotton combined with their smooth fibre surface. This supports the body’s natural thermal regulating mechanism, keeping your skin feeling cool and dry. Fabrics can also be engineered to provide warm and dry sensations on the skin, as evidenced by the skin sensory Alambeta test that shows that TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres emerized creates a warming effect comparable to cotton annel.
Unfavorable for Bacterial Growth
Through moisture management, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres absorb moisture efficiently, as measured by the Vapour Uptake test and Water Retention Value. In comparison to Polyester and synthetics, there is less available moisture formed on the surface of the fibre for bacteria to grow. Consequently, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres provide a less favourable environment for bacterial growth, offering better hygienic qualities.
Note: TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres do not have additives to actively reduce bacterial growth.
